Booking & Getting Started

Fill out our online booking form or email us directly at doggytaleswhistler@gmail.com. We'll get back to you within 24 hours to confirm your booking and set up an initial meet-and-greet.

We'll arrange a meet-and-greet so we can get to know your dog, understand their temperament, energy level, and any special needs. This helps us match them with the right pack and walker.

Small Pack Walks run Tuesday through Sunday, weekly. We walk rain, snow, or shine — every day of the year. Dogs get their adventure regardless of the weather!

Yes! We offer discounts for families with multiple dogs. Contact us for details on our multi-dog pricing — we want to make sure all your pups can join the fun.

Safety & Equipment

We keep our packs small — maximum 6 dogs per walker. This ensures every dog gets individual attention and stays safe. We carefully match dogs based on size, energy level, and temperament.

Every walker carries a comprehensive kit:

  • Dog first aid kit
  • Emergency sling for injured dogs
  • Individual leash for each dog
  • Bear spray and air horn
  • Whistle and pocket knife
  • Clean water for all dogs
  • Satellite communication device
  • "Doggy trail mix" (training treats)

We exclusively use positive reinforcement methods. Our walks blend sniffing, exploration, and light training exercises. We use longlines and harnesses (never choke chains or prong collars) and reward-based techniques to build confidence and good behaviour.

Absolutely! We carry full liability insurance through The Cooperators. All staff hold DogSafe Canine First Aid and Fear Free certifications. Our trainer is a Karen Pryor Academy graduate and BC SPCA AnimalKind accredited.

Yes! We walk 365 days a year in all weather conditions — rain, snow, heat, and everything in between. We adjust our routes and duration based on conditions to ensure safety and comfort. Check out our blog for tips on keeping dogs safe in extreme cold and summer heat.

We serve the Whistler and Pemberton area, covering neighbourhoods from Function Junction to Mt. Currie. Check our interactive trail map to see exactly where we walk.
